Your Questions Answered HereHong Leong MSIG Million Extra-i 2 Rider Deductible
Naufal Ramli asked 5 years ago

Hi, I got one proposal from Hong Leong MSIG Takaful and found the plan is suit for me. But my concern is upon checking the PDS at page 19 and 20, I discover some misleading information about the rider attached in this plan. It mentioned that deductible per rider year for Million Extra-i Rider equivalent to initial overall annual limit per rider year. It is means if I select Plan 200, I need to fork out 120k from my pocket if my single claim between 120k-1.12m or if my claim below 120k, I need to bare all the charges and fee? My agent advised that my plan have no deductible as she select set 1 means 0 deductible. I really need your expertise to explain me on this matter since HLM agent unable to give clear explaination to me.

What does it mean actually? Can you give some situations? I am confuse about this. Let say my first claim is 180k, means all the claim is payable as the deductible rider already absorb 120k l from first rider limit. For subsequent claims, I need to bare 120k deductible as the first rider limit already been used to absorb previous claim? Is it correct my understanding?

No, it means, the first rider covers 120k while the second rider covers 60k.
