EPF Contribution by Employee Reduction from 11% to 9% FY2021

Hi CF. During this time of crisis, what is your advice for EPF Contribution by Employee Reduction from 11% to 9%? Should I maintain 11% or decrease to 9%? Which is the better option? For the past few years, I have always maintain my EPF contribution at 11%. Thanks

"The employee's share of the statutory contribution rate for year 2021 will be reduced from 11% to 9%. This new statutory contribution rate for employees applies only to members below 60 years old who are liable for contribution. For members aged 60 years old and above, the statutory contribution rate for employees remains unchanged. Please note that the new rates will be in effect for an entire year, affecting wages for the months of January 2021 up to December 2021."
