You can if you can accept some of the coverage features being 'removed' from a normal medical card.
Such as, pre/post hospital medical expenses, outpatient cancer/kidney treatments...and forever only be eligible to a 4 person in 1 room rate.

Also, assuming you are in Sarawak, you can check if all private hospitals in your town are panels of this program

The difference is, even if a hospital is a not a panel, you can claim from insurer.
For this program, a non-panel hospital does not allow you to claim the medical expenses.

Thanks for the detail compare. i never thought of that. i wonder how long could this cloud share can last.? is good if it can last for rest of my life but what if it closed down after certain period...*_*

This is very new, and while I believe it's a good concept, execution is the one matters, just like everything.
An analogy would be, will you put your money into fixed deposits, into a newly opened foreign bank, or would you rather put it into say, Public Bank?
